The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the formation of an Interim Management Board for the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) Golf Club in Abuja. In a statement signed by the minister’s senior special assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Dr. Peter Deshi has been appointed as the chairperson of the board, while Barr. Yomi Oyelola will serve as the secretary.
The board also includes notable members such as Otunba Gbengba Elegbeleye, Arc Nanwor Mamven, Mrs. Ekanem Ekwueme, Arc Arabi Bello, Lawan Aboki, Okey Nnaedozie, Fred Otobo, and Julius Fadairo. With this appointment, the members of the IBB Golf Club Interim Management Board will assume their duties immediately.
The FCT Minister extended his congratulations to the appointees and urged them to work diligently for the repositioning of the IBB Golf Club. He emphasized the importance of their efforts in enhancing the club’s operations and reputation.
