Kolade Alabi, Chairman of Bariga Local Government Area in Lagos State and state chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), collapsed on Wednesday during a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party’s secretariat in Ikeja.
Alabi was reportedly addressing attendees when he suddenly slumped. The incident caused panic among party members, but he was quickly revived and taken away in an ambulance for emergency medical attention.
Alabi’s condition at the hospital has not yet been disclosed, and further updates are expected.
