Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and former Governor of Rivers State, has accused Rotimi Amaechi’s wife of misappropriating N4 billion meant for training Niger Delta women. Wike made the allegations during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’. He also responded to Amaechi’s claims of seniority and demands for respect, dismissing them by emphasizing integrity and honor over age.

Wike traced his political history, stating he was an elected local government chairman before meeting Amaechi. He criticized Amaechi’s wife for claiming to be an “industrialist” and linked her alleged financial activities to the unaired forensic audit report of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Wike also called on President Bola Tinubu to release the NDDC forensic audit report, alleging that, it contains details of how Amaechi’s wife embezzled billions of naira. He claimed that the report was suppressed by former Attorney-General Malami.
