U.S. President Donald Trump has introduced a new “Gold Card” aimed at wealthy immigrants, granting them the right to stay in the United States indefinitely. Announcing the initiative aboard Air Force One, Trump stated, “For 5 million dollars, this could be yours,” while showcasing the golden card, which features an image of his face.
The Gold Card is expected to be available within two weeks and may replace the previous EB-5 investor visa program. It is designed for affluent individuals and those with specialized skills, allowing them a pathway to citizenship if they have sponsors willing to cover the visa costs.
This announcement follows Trump’s earlier proposals for the card presented in February, reflecting his ongoing immigration reform efforts.
