The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has completed the relocation of eight 132kV and 33kV towers along the Kukwaba/Apo transmission line, restoring full power supply to the 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation.
In a statement from TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, the relocation was necessary due to a road dualization project by the Federal Capital Development Authority. The work required a planned power outage from January 6 to January 20.
With the completion of the tower relocation, TCN has resumed normal power distribution to affected areas, effectively ending load rationing. The company thanked customers for their patience during this process.
