The Delta State Police Command has apprehended two suspects in connection with the murder of an Uber driver and the assault of a commercial sex worker in Warri.
According to police spokesperson Bright Edafe, the suspects hired the driver and invited the sex worker to a nightclub. After leaving the venue, they allegedly strangled the driver and disposed of the victim’s body, abandoning the woman.
The police confirmed that the arrests were made following the investigation into the incident, which occurred in December of the previous year.
