As the November 8, 2025, Anambra Governorship election approaches, political activity is beginning to intensify, with members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) rallying behind Governor Charles Soludo CFR, who has been confirmed as the party’s standard-bearer.
In a significant political development, thousands of members of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s political family were officially received into APGA by the State Chairman of the party, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye, at the International Convention Centre in Awka on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
Governor Charles Soludo, while welcoming the group into APGA, reflected on his relationship with the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and issued a posthumous apology for the injustice he perceived in the party in 2019.
The Governor, describing APGA as a broad and inclusive platform, reiterated his administration’s guiding philosophy of “one state, one people, one agenda,”
