An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Jesutega Onokpasa, has reportedly passed away. The lawyer and well-known political commentator died on Monday, with the news confirmed by pro-APC crusader Okezie Atani on his X account.

Atani expressed his condolences, stating, “We lost Barr. Jesutega Onokpasa. May his soul rest in perfect peace.” A tribute from the Facebook page Renewed Hope United Kingdom honored Onokpasa’s contributions to Nigerian politics and law, reflecting on his commitment to the APC and his role in shaping political discourse.

Onokpasa, who was a member of the APC Publicity Committee and the Presidential Campaign Council in 2023, gained national attention for his strong support of President Bola Tinubu, often appearing on television to defend the administration.
