The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a fresh extension of the timeline for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, as well as the screening schedule for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said the sale of forms will now continue until midnight on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The deadline for submission of completed forms has also been extended to midnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
According to the revised timetable, the screening of aspirants will now take place from Friday, May 8 to Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The party further disclosed that the list of screened aspirants will be published on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
The development marks another adjustment by the ruling party as it prepares its internal processes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
