A political support group, the Uba Sani Legacy Projects Solidarity Assembly (USLEPSA), says Governor Uba Sani’s transformative leadership in Kaduna State has positioned him for an easy victory in the 2027 gubernatorial election.

At a press conference held at Arewa House in Kaduna, USLEPSA spokesperson Hadiza Mohammed described Sani’s administration as one of “no-excuses governance,” citing a wide range of achievements across infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and public finance.

According to the group, in just 21 months, the administration has:

Invested N100 billion in the water sector, with N35 billion earmarked for 2025, targeting 100% water access by December.

Cleared N1.3 billion in electricity debts for water treatment and paid N800 million in back salaries to Water Corporation staff.

Initiated 78 road projects spanning 775 kilometres across all 23 LGAs, completing 21, and revived the Kaduna Bridge to ease traffic flow.

Constructed 62 secondary schools, built 2,326 classrooms, and hired 2,000 teachers. It also distributed 30,000 desks and 3,700 teacher chairs, and slashed tertiary tuition fees by 50%.

Upgraded 12 General Hospitals and equipped Primary Health Centres to meet Level 2 standards.

Boosted agriculture by distributing inputs to 41,693 farmers, deploying modern equipment, and allocating 9.5% of the 2025 budget to the sector.

Cleared N6.9 billion in pension arrears and launched a N500 million loan scheme for civil servants.

Attracted $503 million in foreign investment, with partnerships including Huawei and Qatar Charity, and ongoing talks with the USA, Italy, and Cuba.

Under the “A Kori Talauci” empowerment scheme, 5,000 women received grants ranging from N50,000 to N300,000. Ongoing projects include vocational cities and the Panteka innovation centre, while victims of insecurity and natural disasters have received government support.

An Executive Order on Financial Inclusion has reportedly enabled over two million rural residents to open bank accounts. The Kaduna Internal Revenue Service also reported N19.3 billion in revenue, driven by digital reforms and improved transparency.

“Governor Uba Sani didn’t come to make excuses. He came to make a difference,” Mohammed declared, adding that Kaduna has now become “a benchmark for transparency and purposeful leadership.”
