In a significant display of backing, sixty support groups, representing 120,000 members under the All Soludo Support Groups (ASSG) umbrella, have endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s bid for a second term. During a rally at the International Convention Centre in Awka, the groups presented a substantial donation of thirty million naira to support the governor’s re-election campaign.
Governor Soludo, visibly moved by the overwhelming support, noted that there is a broad consensus among community leaders, APGA stakeholders, youths, and students urging him to seek a second term. He attributed this unified support to the visible developments and projects initiated by his administration, which have positively impacted the lives of Anambra residents.
Reiterating his commitment to the vision of “One State, One People, One Agenda,” Governor Soludo emphasized his focus on addressing the needs of ndi Anambra and executing transformative projects across the state. He expressed profound gratitude to all the support groups and their leadership for their unwavering support.
Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, the Coordinator of the All Soludo Support Group, alongside other conveners, pledged their dedication to assisting the governor in realizing his manifesto and vision for Anambra. They unanimously voiced their satisfaction with the administration’s achievements, affirming that they do not regret supporting the governor’s first term.
This show of support follows a similar endorsement from Anambra State students, who contributed two million naira to bolster Governor Soludo’s re-election bid. Additionally, the Soludo Vanguard, a grassroots support group, has also mobilized efforts in favor of the governor’s campaign, further strengthening his re-election prospects.
