The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has refuted claims that it sealed off the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national headquarters in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja. This follows accusations from Ibrahim Tsauri, a member of the Board of Trustees and former PDP National Secretary, who stated that police barred members from accessing the secretariat for a scheduled meeting.

In a statement, Police Public Relations Officer SP Josephine Adeh described the reports as “false” and clarified that police personnel were deployed solely to maintain law and order, not to seal the premises. She urged media outlets to verify information before reporting.
