The ongoing crisis within the Labour Party (LP) has resurfaced as former National Chairman Barr. Julius Abure and factional National Secretary Umar Farouk Ibrahim were spotted at a quarterly consultative meeting with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). This meeting serves as a regular platform for political parties to interface with the electoral body.
The images of Abure and Ibrahim attending the meeting have been circulated by the faction’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, in Abuja. However, it remains unclear whether the Interim National Committee, led by Senators Nenadi Usman and Darlington Nwochocha, was also in attendance.
