The All Progressive Congress (APC) has officially endorsed Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji as the consensus candidate for the 2026 gubernatorial election. The affirmation took place in Ado-Ekiti on Monday, with the motion presented by Senate Leader Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and seconded by Ekiti State House of Assembly Speaker Stephen Aribasoye.
Chairman of the Affirmation Congress committee, Ahmed Ododo, praised Oyebanji’s significant contributions across various sectors, benefiting the people of Ekiti. He emphasized that the APC is a party of discipline, reflecting the trust that residents place in Oyebanji’s leadership.
