The political drama within the Lagos State House of Assembly deepened on Monday as the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda, officially resigned from her position.
Reliable sources confirm that her resignation was accompanied by those of other key officers. The Chief Whip of the Assembly, Hon. Setonji David, representing Badagry Constituency II, also stepped down. Additionally, Hon. Okanlawon Sanni tendered his resignation as Deputy Chief Whip.
