The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has announced the immediate suspension of Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics. The suspension follows an incident on February 8, 2025, where Sani-Giant reportedly brought a snake to the Government House, causing intimidation among dignitaries and officials present.

A statement issued by the party’s state secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, emphasized that Sani-Giant’s actions could potentially embarrass and discredit the party. The statement condemned his behavior as offensive and a violation of the APC constitution.

Muhammad-Kimba indicated that Sani-Giant’s suspension will remain in effect pending further investigation and potential disciplinary measures. He noted that repeated offenses could lead to expulsion from the party.

This incident has raised concerns about conduct within the party and its implications for public perception. The APC continues to address the situation as it unfolds, focusing on maintaining the integrity of its members and the party as a whole.
