Operatives of Nigeria’s anti-graft agencies on Wednesday evening cordoned off the residence of a former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, in what sources describe as a major escalation in an ongoing high-profile corruption investigation.
sources say several enforcement vehicles belonging to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), alongside armed operatives, were deployed to the residence.
The property reportedly houses one of former President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughters as well as Malami’s third wife.
