The Police Command in Ondo State has confirmed the death of CSP Nimrod Anaka, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Kajola Police Station in the Odigbo Local Government Area.
DSP Ayanlade Olushola, the command spokesman, stated that Anaka’s death occurred while he was being transported to a hospital for medical attention due to a sudden illness. The specifics surrounding his death have not been disclosed, and only medical experts can confirm the cause.
Olushola mentioned that further details, including the DPO’s age and indigene, would be shared later. The news of his passing has left officers attached to the station in mourning, and his body has been deposited at a mortuary.
