Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has expressed his willingness to support anyone who backs President Bola Tinubu. Speaking during the flag-off of Water Supply Projects in Karu, Wike urged residents to align with those who can effectively communicate with the government.
Wike praised former Senator Philip Aduda and Abuja Municipal Area Council Chairman Christopher Maikalangu for their contributions to community development. He promised to construct a 2km road in Karu based on a request from Aduda and emphasized the importance of supporting capable leaders.
He highlighted the previous failures of past governments to meet the community’s needs, particularly regarding water supply. Wike reaffirmed the Tinubu administration’s commitment to providing clean water to satellite towns, urging residents to remember those who have failed them in the past.
Maikalangu, who is seeking re-election as AMAC chairman, has transitioned from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress, reinforcing Wike’s call for support for Tinubu’s allies.
