Arise Television broadcaster, Rufai Oseni, has dismissed widespread rumours claiming he was suspended from the station, insisting he is simply on a scheduled leave.
Oseni, in a series of posts on X on Friday, clarified that his absence from the popular Morning Show was due to a planned break that had been publicly announced on air weeks earlier. He described the online reports alleging disciplinary action as “lies and fabrications.”
According to him, viewers were duly informed when his leave began, and there is verifiable evidence showing he temporarily stepped away for rest after a full year of work.
“I was not suspended. The lies and fabrications are terrible. Social media na wa,” he wrote.
In another post, Oseni added: “I have worked for about a year and I decided to go on leave. After I rest small, I go return. I love you all.”
He further emphasized that Arise TV had announced his leave “on Thursday last two weeks,” urging those spreading misinformation to verify facts before posting.
