The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State has declared its intention to win all elections in the 2027 general elections, despite recent defections to the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to the Acting State Chairman of the party, Mr. Steve Oruruo, the PDP is still very much alive in Enugu and is determined to rebuild, even with the Governor’s defection.
Oruruo stated that the party has begun mobilizing its members to stay united and motivated. He also mentioned that the PDP is ready to partner with anyone interested in strengthening the party. Oruruo assured that the PDP is committed to staying firm and solid, with the goal of creating a party capable of winning elections and producing responsible candidates.
He acknowledged some internal crisis at the national level but expressed confidence in the party’s ability to resolve any issues.
