The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, has announced that corps members will soon begin receiving a monthly allowance of ₦77,000 in line with the new minimum wage.

He reiterated his commitment to ensuring the welfare and security of corps members, emphasizing that 2025 would see corps members receiving all the benefits they deserve.
The DG also noted that the staff bus donated by Capital Express Insurance Company was meant to address transportation challenges faced by NYSC staff in Abuja, especially in light of rising fuel and transportation costs.
