Media personality Chinedu Emmanuel Ani, widely known as Nedu Wazobia, has vehemently denied allegations linking him to drug trafficking and fraudulent activities in South Africa, Morocco, and Turkey. The accusations were made by social media critic Martin Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, who released an audio recording purportedly featuring Nedu discussing plans related to illegal operations.
In the controversial audio clip, Nedu allegedly mentions strategies for conducting illicit activities in various cities, claiming to have connections with individuals involved in drug trade and fraud. Following the release of the recording, VeryDarkMan submitted a petition to the embassies of Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco in Nigeria, calling for investigations into the alleged criminal activities of Nedu and his associates.
Responding to the allegations, Nedu took to his Instagram account to clarify his position. He stated, “Hello everyone, this is not a joke anymore. I know nothing about that voice note going around. I did not make that voice note. While this seems to be fun and games, I’ve never and will never be part of anything criminal.”
Nedu’s denial comes amid ongoing tensions between him and VeryDarkMan, which have been intensified by previous public disputes. The media personality is now focused on clearing his name and countering what he describes as baseless allegations.
As the situation develops, both Nedu and VeryDarkMan remain at the center of public attention, with the outcome of these serious claims yet to be determined.
