The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially announced the upcoming governorship election in Anambra, scheduled for November 8, 2025. This announcement aligns with the requirements set forth by the Electoral Act.
Mrs. Ugomma Lechukwu, INEC’s Public Relations Officer in Anambra, detailed that the election will take place from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Voters are reminded to cast their ballots at their registered polling centers.
Eligible voters must have their names on the voter register and possess valid voter cards. The election will feature a total of 16 candidates, including two females and 14 males.
