The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has extended warm Eid el-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community in Anambra and across Nigeria, urging citizens to embrace unity and renewed hope for a better nation.

In a goodwill message marking the end of Ramadan, Governor Soludo commended Muslims for their dedication to sacrifice, compassion, and spiritual renewal throughout the holy month. He highlighted the significance of Ramadan’s teachings, noting that the discipline and faith displayed by adherents serve as an inspiration to all.

“Ramadan is a powerful reminder of the transformative power of self-reflection, charity, and communal solidarity—values that resonate beyond religion,” the governor stated.

Soludo emphasized the importance of Eid el-Fitr as an opportunity to strengthen bonds across religious and ethnic lines. He called on Nigerians to use the occasion to foster mutual respect and understanding, reinforcing the idea that unity is key to national progress.

“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us recommit to harmony and peace. In Anambra and beyond, we are one people, united by our shared aspirations for a better Nigeria,” he said.

The governor also linked the core lessons of Eid to his administration’s commitment to justice, equity, and inclusive development. He reaffirmed his government’s dedication to policies that promote social cohesion and economic empowerment.

Governor Soludo concluded his message by wishing Muslims a joyful celebration, praying that the spirit of Ramadan continues to inspire collective efforts toward building a nation where every citizen can thrive in dignity.
