The Federal Government has rejected allegations of lopsided development under President Bola Tinubu, insisting that the administration has remained fair and equitable in its distribution of projects and appointments across the country.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, said in a weekend statement that contrary to claims of bias, the Tinubu administration has demonstrated “uncommon commitment” to inclusivity and balanced national growth since coming into office.
Providing figures to back his claim, Idris explained that road infrastructure projects were almost evenly split between the northern and southern regions — with 52 per cent located in the North and 48 per cent in the South.
He maintained that the President’s policies and initiatives were anchored on fairness, justice, and equity, urging Nigerians to disregard divisive narratives.
According to him, every section of the country has been considered in project allocations and appointments, reflecting Tinubu’s pledge to run an inclusive government.
