Iran has confirmed the death of Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, the wife of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, following recent air strikes linked to the escalating conflict involving the United States and Israel.
According to official statements from Iranian authorities, Bagherzadeh died from injuries sustained during the strikes. Her death comes amid heightened regional tensions and days after reports of major military operations targeting strategic locations inside Iran.
Bagherzadeh, who had largely remained out of the public spotlight throughout her husband’s leadership, was regarded as a private but influential figure within Iran’s ruling establishment.
