Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has been hospitalised following a car accident along the Daura–Katsina highway.
The incident occurred as the governor was returning to Katsina after receiving dignitaries who visited Daura to commiserate with the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sources reveal that Governor Radda sustained a fracture from the accident and was immediately rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Daura, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
Officials say his condition is stable and he is responding positively to treatment.
