Breaking: Another Indian Passenger Plane Makes Emergency Landing Over Bomb Threat

An Air India passenger flight en route from Phuket, Thailand, to New Delhi was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff due to a bomb threat onboard, according to the Airports of Thailand.

The Airbus A320 reportedly turned back over the Andaman Sea, circling multiple times before landing safely back in Phuket. The threat was discovered shortly after departure when the flight crew alerted air traffic control about a message indicating the presence of a bomb.

This incident comes just one day after another major Air India tragedy a London-bound aircraft crashed in Ahmedabad, India, resulting in the deaths of at least 265 people, including some on the ground.

FlightRadar24 data confirmed the flight’s rapid turnaround, showing it diverting from its path and hovering off the island’s coast before making a safe return.

Investigations are ongoing, and authorities have not yet confirmed the nature or credibility of the bomb threat.

The consecutive aviation scares have raised serious concerns about passenger safety, especially following the devastating crash that continues to draw global mourning and scrutiny.
