The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a change in venue and time for its upcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting originally slated for Thursday, July 24, 2025.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the meeting will now hold at 2:00 p.m. at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, instead of the APC national secretariat in Wuse II.
According to Morka, the adjustment was made due to “logistical reasons.”
The meeting comes at a critical time for the ruling party, which is expected to formally endorse a successor to former National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned in June citing health concerns. Acting Chairman Ali Bukar Dalori is widely speculated to remain in the role pending a future elective convention.
In addition to leadership decisions, the NEC is also expected to deliberate on progress reports from the Constitution Review Committee and the ongoing e-registration drive as the party gears up for the 2027 general elections.
