Top government officials, political leaders and business figures have congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday.
Leading the messages were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas. They described the President as a strong and visionary leader and prayed for his continued good health and wisdom.
In her message, the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, prayed for peace, strength and divine health for the President. She also expressed confidence in his leadership.
Akpabio praises Tinubu’s leadership
Akpabio said the President has shown courage and vision in handling the nation’s affairs. He noted that despite the challenges of recent reforms, there are signs of progress and improvement.
He added that the National Assembly would continue to support the President in delivering long-term benefits for Nigerians.
Dangote commends economic reforms
President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, also praised Tinubu’s leadership.
Dangote said the President has taken bold steps, especially in removing fuel subsidy and reforming the foreign exchange system. According to him, these decisions have improved investor confidence and strengthened the economy.
He also expressed support for the administration’s goal of growing Nigeria’s economy to $1 trillion, noting that his company plans to contribute significantly to that target.
Support for second term grows
Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, expressed optimism that the President would win a second term in 2027.
Similarly, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu described Tinubu as a committed and visionary leader whose policies are already impacting lives.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya also backed the administration’s reforms, saying they are necessary for long-term national growth.
Abbas, others highlight reforms
Speaker Abbas described Tinubu as a pro-democracy figure and nation builder. He said the administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” is already bringing reforms in key sectors.
Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu added that the President’s policies are shaping Nigeria’s future and strengthening national development.
Widespread goodwill
Across the country, political leaders and stakeholders offered prayers and goodwill messages, urging Nigerians to continue supporting the administration.
They expressed hope that the President’s policies would lead to sustained growth, stability and prosperity for the country.
