Ebenezer Harcourt, goalkeeper for Nigeria’s U-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, has expressed strong confidence that his team will defeat South Africa in their upcoming semi-final at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The match is set to take place at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia. The Flying Eagles advanced to the semi-finals by defeating the defending champions Senegal 3-1 on penalties, while South Africa (Amajita) won 1-0 against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
