Limit Your Divisive Nature to ADC – Omokri Blast Peter Obi Over Grid Collapse

Social critic Reno Omokri has urged former presidential candidate Peter Obi to confine his divisive rhetoric to the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Omokri criticized Obi for reacting to the recent claims that President Bola Tinubu has failed to uphold campaign promises regarding electricity in Nigeria.

Following Obi’s remarks about the latest national grid collapse, Omokri pointed out that major power grid failures are not unique to Nigeria, citing recent blackouts in the United States affecting millions. He expressed disapproval of Obi’s tendency to de-marketing Nigeria during challenging times.

Omokri questioned why Obi, during his tenure as Anambra’s governor, did not initiate any independent power projects, contrasting it with Tinubu’s achievements in Lagos. He noted that Nigeria has made significant progress in power generation, breaking records under Tinubu’s leadership with a peak output of over 5,800 MW.

In his Facebook post, Omokri advised Obi to focus on constructive contributions rather than waiting for negative news to exploit. He emphasized that Obi’s divisive tactics are damaging not only to Nigeria but also to the ADC, which has faced instability since his involvement.
