Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has directed commissioners to present accounts of their stewardship, detailing achievements from 2025 and projections for the year 2026. He emphasized that all plans must align with the ARISE Agenda of his administration.
Eno made this declaration during a two-week ministerial briefing at the State Executive Council Chambers in Uyo. He urged council members to utilize this opportunity to fully account for their ministries, including staff strength, past accomplishments, and future plans.
The governor stated, “From January 12 to approximately January 21, we will hold daily sessions, taking presentations from members of the Executive Council, Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.”
He highlighted the need to consolidate past achievements and ensure continued improvement in the lives of Akwa Ibom State residents, declaring a year focused on action and results with zero tolerance for excuses.
The purpose of the briefing is to establish the state’s priorities and set a clear agenda for effective service delivery aligned with the ARISE Agenda. Governor Eno also encouraged council members to mobilize constituents for the ongoing voter registration and the e-registration of the All Progressives Congress.”
