The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it has recorded a major boost in Taraba State after registering over 45,000 new members across several local government areas.
A member of the party’s Membership Mobilisation, Revalidation and Registration committee, Iliya Ezekiel, disclosed that the new entrants were drawn mainly from Donga, Takum and Ussa local councils. He added that more than 10,000 people had earlier joined the party in Gassol Local Government Area.
Ezekiel described the development as a sign of growing public confidence in the ADC, noting that the party’s inclusive leadership style and grassroots engagement were attracting Nigerians dissatisfied with their current political platforms.
He said the ADC remains open to all Nigerians committed to positive change and assured new members that the party would continue to promote unity, fairness and internal democracy in Taraba State.
