The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of altering tax laws after they were passed by the National Assembly.
The party claims key provisions were deleted and new powers inserted that give the executive sweeping authority, including property seizure without court approval.
ADC is calling for the immediate suspension of the tax laws, a public investigation into the alleged forgery, and prosecution of any officials involved, warning that the actions threaten constitutional democracy and separation of powers.
