Atiku Abubakar has responded to the All Progressives Congress (APC), advising them to concentrate on President Bola Tinubu’s “fading capacity” rather than his own political decisions.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku emphasized that his political journey is transparent and verifiable. He contrasted his public record with that of Tinubu, whom he described as a “paymaster” with a questionable background, suggesting that the true identity of the APC leader remains a mystery.
Atiku criticized the APC for attacking him for strategic political moves while endorsing someone whose history is murky. He asserted that his collaboration with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is rooted in conviction and a shared vision for nation-building, rather than desperation.
Further, Shaibu accused the APC of hypocrisy, asserting that they should address the numerous pressing issues facing Nigeria instead of directing their energies towards unfounded personal attacks.
