Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has asserted that no adversary can create discord between him and his political mentor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. This declaration was made during a ceremony celebrating his 69th birthday at his residence in Kano.
Yusuf stated, “No enemy, whether from outside or within, can come between us. They are liars.” He emphasized the unity among the NNPP government, its officials, and the Kwankwasiyya family, despite attempts to sow division.
He praised Senator Kwankwaso as a visionary leader committed to the welfare of the people, saying, “God has blessed us with a God-fearing and selfless leader in him , a man who loves the people of Kano State and works tirelessly for their progress.”
The governor reaffirmed his dedication to advancing the state in alignment with the Kwankwasiyya ideology, which focuses on service, accountability, and empowerment.
Senator Kwankwaso, for his part, urged members of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and the Kwankwasiyya Movement to remain united and work collectively for the party’s continued success. He expressed gratitude to party leaders and supporters who attended the birthday celebration.
