Minister of Works, David Umahi, has stated that all South-East governors are united in their support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027. In a recent video shared on Instagram, Umahi affirmed, “All the governors of the South-East are supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term.”
Umahi highlighted his belief that, when the presidency is zoned to the South-East, he should be at the forefront due to his past performance as governor of Ebonyi State. He noted that under Tinubu’s administration, the South-East is experiencing increased federal attention and infrastructure development.
He praised President Tinubu for addressing historical concerns about the lack of federal presence in the region, stating that several federal projects are currently underway in Ebonyi State.
This declaration comes after Umahi announced plans for a summit among South-East political leaders to solidify their support for Tinubu.
