The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reopened its online recruitment portal after a temporary suspension due to technical glitches. In a statement released on Monday, the board confirmed the portal is now fully operational and accessible to applicants across the country.

The temporary shutdown was necessary to enhance the system’s capacity to handle the high volume of applications, ensuring a smooth and transparent recruitment process. The board apologized for the disruption, emphasizing that improvements were made to accommodate all applicants.

The recruitment exercise encompasses four paramilitary agencies: the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service. Applicants who had initiated their applications are encouraged to revisit the portal and complete the process.

The CDCFIB acknowledged complaints from candidates experiencing issues with missing local government areas on the portal and assured that corrective measures are being implemented.

The board expressed gratitude for the interest shown by young Nigerians in serving through these vital agencies and reaffirmed its commitment to a fair recruitment process. Candidates are encouraged to complete their submissions promptly and keep an eye on the portal for further updates.
