President Donald Trump announced that the United States has conducted airstrikes on Iran’s heavily fortified nuclear facility at Fordow, along with two other sites, Natanz and Esfahan. Speaking from the White House on Saturday night, Trump stated that the aim of these strikes was to dismantle Iran’s nuclear capabilities and eliminate the nuclear threat.

“A short time ago, the U.S. military executed precise strikes on these three critical nuclear facilities of the Iranian regime: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump declared. “These names have long been associated with Iran’s destructive nuclear program.”

He emphasized that the objective was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and mitigate the threat posed by what he termed the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism.

The President characterized the strikes as a significant military success, claiming, “Tonight, I can report that the strikes were a spectacular military achievement. Iran’s key nuclear facilities have been completely obliterated.”

Trump warned that Iran must pursue peace, stating, “If they do not, future attacks will be even more devastating and easier to execute.” He stressed that there are still many potential targets left, adding, “Tonight’s mission was the most challenging and perhaps the most lethal.”

He praised the capabilities of the U.S. military, asserting that no other military could have accomplished what was done that night. “There’s no military in the world that could have executed this operation; it was unparalleled,” he remarked.

Earlier, Trump had announced the strikes on social media, confirming that all planes had safely exited Iranian airspace after delivering their payloads. He congratulated the U.S. military, stating, “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”

In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commended Trump for his “bold decision” to target Iran’s nuclear facilities, asserting that it would have significant historical implications.
