The Nigeria Police Force has announced the graduation of 10,000 recruit constables from various training institutions across the country. The ceremony is scheduled for January 23, 2025, and will take place at four Police Colleges and twelve Training Schools.
According to the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the event reflects the ongoing commitment of the Police to strengthen its personnel and enhance service delivery. The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, will officiate the ceremony.
Adejobi stated, “This graduation signifies our dedication to improving policing services for the Nigerian populace. The recruits have completed rigorous training to tackle the complex security challenges facing the nation while adhering to legal principles.”
The Inspector-General expressed confidence that the newly graduated constables would demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and dedication to their duties, thereby upholding the Police Force’s reputation.
Following their graduation, the constables will be deployed to various state commands to support local policing and community safety efforts. This influx of new personnel is expected to enhance community engagement and improve public safety.
