Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has praised President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, asserting that they are laying a solid foundation for a “new Nigeria.” He made these remarks after reading the ninth lesson at the 2025 Christmas carol organized by the state government in Abeokuta.
Abiodun emphasized that the President’s efforts have contributed to economic stability and inclusive prosperity nationwide. He noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda has had a positive impact on the nation’s economy.
In his address, Abiodun called for continued support for the president, urging unity, compassion, and shared prosperity to build a brighter future for both Ogun and Nigeria. He expressed that the Christmas season represents not just a date but a reminder of God’s enduring love and a call to care for the needy.
Furthermore, he highlighted Ogun’s longstanding reputation for religious tolerance and social harmony, encouraging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to ensure a safe festive season.
Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Citadel Global Community Church delivered a sermon titled “The Best Gift Ever,” reinforcing the idea that Christmas brings good news and emphasizing the importance of returning to one’s community to emulate Christ’s acts of kindness.
