Fubara expressed his thanks for the enthusiastic reception he received at the Port Harcourt International Airport, calling it a demonstration of love and solidarity from the people. He emphasized that the massive turnout was more than just a celebration; it reaffirmed the connection between his government and the citizens.
The Governor pledged to continue actions that have earned the people’s trust and love, stating, “We will, by the grace of God, continue to do those things that have made you love us.” He also announced plans to address the state at 6 PM, where he will acknowledge everyone who has contributed to restoring normalcy in Rivers.
