The Plateau State Government has imposed a curfew in parts of Jos North Local Government Area following a recent attack that heightened security concerns in the area.
The decision was taken to restore calm and prevent further breakdown of law and order after reports of violence in the community.
Authorities said the curfew would restrict movement within affected areas for specified hours, allowing security agencies to stabilise the situation and protect lives and property.
Residents have been urged to comply fully with the directive, while security personnel have been deployed to maintain peace and deter any further disturbances.
Officials also called for calm among citizens, assuring that efforts are ongoing to address the situation and bring those responsible for the attack to justice.
