The Minister for Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd), has shared his testimony regarding how divine intervention influenced his rise to national leadership, recounting challenges that initially seemed insurmountable.

During a recent service at the Conquerors Global Assembly in Abuja, shared on social media, Musa attended alongside his wife, expressing gratitude to the church’s founder, Bishop David Abioye.

In his address, Musa encouraged the congregation not to lose hope, stating, “because we serve a living God. He will never give up on us.” Reflecting on recent challenges, he remarked, “We give God the glory for what has happened this year. Even when the enemy thought they were putting us down, they did not know God was going to lift us up.”

Musa emphasized the importance of challenges for personal growth, declaring that adversity builds strength. He remarked, “If you are never challenged you can never improve in life,” urging Nigerians to remain united and supportive of their leaders.

Additionally, he cautioned against negative narratives about Nigeria, noting that persistent criticism can hinder national progress.

Musa was nominated by President Tinubu on December 2, replacing Mohammed Badaru, who resigned for health reasons. He was sworn in two days later.
