Iran’s military has warned that hotels accommodating United States soldiers across the Middle East could become legitimate targets as tensions intensify in the ongoing conflict involving Israel and the US.
According to Iranian state television, armed forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi said any location housing American forces would be treated as a military target.
“When all the Americans go into a hotel, then from our perspective that hotel becomes American,” he said.
He added that Iran would not remain passive in the face of continued attacks, stressing that its response would extend to wherever US forces are located.
The warning comes amid a widening regional conflict that has heightened global concerns over security and economic stability, particularly in energy markets.
