The federal government has appealed to organizations across the country not to reject National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members when they are assigned for their mandatory service.
During a media briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, Minister of Youth Development Ayodele Olawande emphasized that corps members will be posted in alignment with their fields of study.
The plea comes as the 2024 Batch C members concluded their three-week camping exercise.
Olawande urged prospective employers to welcome the corps members into their organizations for the benefit of the country, stating, “I am pleading with employers to accept corps members posted to their organizations as they leave camp.”
