Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has confidently predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure 95% of the votes in the upcoming 2027 elections. This assertion was made during a mega rally held in Kaduna, where a significant number of members from opposition parties defected to the APC.

Governor Sani highlighted the recent influx of elected officials into the APC, noting that the party now boasts 13 out of 16 House of Representatives members from Kaduna State, leaving the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with just three. In the Kaduna State House of Assembly, the APC has expanded its representation to 26 members compared to the PDP’s eight.

Sani attributed the party’s growing strength to his administration’s commitment to justice, fairness, and inclusivity, emphasizing that the diverse makeup of Kaduna has been leveraged to prevent ethno-religious conflicts.

House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas echoed the Governor’s sentiments, stating that the APC has achieved political dominance in Kaduna, a milestone not previously attained by any other party in the state. He declared that the APC is the party to beat in all zones of Kaduna.

At the rally, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda referred to the APC as the “promised land” for Nigerian politicians, affirming that both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sani deserve a second term due to their accomplishments.

Governor Sani reassured new party members that the APC is a united family that does not discriminate among its members, stating that both newcomers and long-standing members would enjoy the same privileges within the party.
