The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed its condolences to those affected by the recent floods that inundated the market town of Mokwa in Niger State. In a statement from the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, APC conveyed its deepest sympathies to families who lost loved ones and those displaced by the disaster.

Reports indicate that over 100 lives were lost, with many individuals still unaccounted for following the flooding in Mokwa Local Government Area. The party commended the efforts of first responders and citizens involved in search and rescue operations.

APC urged the National Emergency Relief Agency and other authorities to intensify their efforts to mitigate the disaster’s impact and provide relief to victims. The party offered prayers for the deceased and wished for the swift recovery of those injured in the tragedy.
